JUNIOR STAGS, THE TIRELESS CHAMP OF SUMMER LEAGUES!

Two prominent summer leagues concluded lately with one great news in common. It’s the indefatigable JUNIOR STAGS emerging as champion.

FR. MARTIN CUP held the final match between SSC-R and La Salle Zobel to draw the biggest crowd with the former grabbing victory through an 8-point lead (87-79). Copping the third position was Letran which relegated San Beda to the fourth place position.

NIKE SUMMER LEAGUE gave JUNIOR STAGS another limelight as the undefeated team crippled San Beda with a 6-point lead (80-74). Meanwhile, Letran stayed third after beating FEU.

This is it! The Juniors are making history. They have hit championship two years in a row in both summer leagues and will move on strongly to get the Grand Slam next season.

Come June 23, the Juniors are set to capture the eyes of the NCAA hopefuls as they unfold another display of hard court supremacy. Also hitting two championships (2005 and 2006), the Juniors are here to cause a thunderous match and hopefully get the GRAND SLAM.
