The Supreme Student Government recently unfolded the opening ceremonies for the College Intramurals with 9 teams representing courses such as Psychology, Marketing, Mass Communication, Accountancy, Tourism, Computer Science, HRM, Management and Political Science.

The ceremony was opened with a band perfomance of the SAS members. A colorful parade followed with muses leading to the delight of the crowd. Fr. Cris Palomar gave the invocation while Fr. Joel Naranja rendered the welcome remarks which was followed by the oath of sportsmanship led by the SG President, Aaron Saludo.

Invited to give an inspirational message was the Manila Sports Council Chairman, Arnold "Ali" Atienza who commended the school and the organizers for uplifting the spirit of sportsmanship through competitions.

Dance and entertainment numbers were provided by the SSRDT and the High School Pep Squad. Fr. Dionisio C. Cachero, OAR, together with guest speaker Ali Atienza, gave way to the ceremonial toss which signaled the start of the ball games.

Management and Tourism took the first game with the former winning with 95-88 score. For the second game, Psychology dropped MassCom with a wide margin, 77-47. Political Science won over Computer Science with 73-67 while HRM lorded over Marketing with 87-60.

Set for this Saturday and on Wednesday, the following teams will outsmart each other:

Nov. 25 (Saturday)
      3 pm MassCom vs. Accountancy
      4: 30 pm Political Science vs. Management

Nov. 29 (Wednesday)
      1:30 pm HRM vs. Psychology
      3:00 pm Marketing vs. Computer Science

Bannering its theme "RED AND GOLD, PROUD AND BOLD!", this athletic event intends to heighten camaraderie and embody the spirit of excellence by championing sports as part of the holistic human development which is an important component of the school's vision and mission.
