“The church is reminding us today that life beomes meaningful if God is with us, and if we allow him to do so.” , Fr. Morillo strongly emphasized as he enumerated the gifts that God has bestowed us like life and the sacraments that nourish our soul and spirit. “Without God in our lives, we are nothing”, he added. Further, he continued.
“The absence of Christ in us manifests scenarios like unsuccessful marriages, doing things the selfish way, making unjust complaints, unproductive competitions and so on. Our talents and professions are not ours, they are God’s. Acknowledging these as gifts that will be shared to everybody will bear much fruits.”
Finally, he urged the community to carry the above reflections not only this season but forever.
“Only with Christ can we make things happen for SSC-R. And only with Christ can we feel that SSC-R is our home. Always and forever, Merry Christmas to all!”
