Stags maintained a slim lead in the first few minutes but the Great Danes managed to stay close and posted the first deadlock (10-10) during half of the first quarter.
Scores remained close at the start of the second quarter as San Sebastian’s score was nailed to 24. The Great Danes took advantage and pinned the second deadlock (24-24) with 5:42 remaining. The Aquino-Sangalang-Abueva-Bulawan combination did only a two-point discrepancy ending the second quarter with 35-33.
Halftime performance therefore favored the Stags.

Third quarter ender gave Stags a six-point advantage (61-55) with Pamboy Raymundo and Gilbert Bulawan making most of the shots. Approaching the last five minutes of the last quarter, AUF idled at 59 for nearly two minutes as Semira, Bulawan, Sangalang unleashed to widened lead to its biggest (18) with 77-59. The last two minutes gave the Great Danes opportunities to jack-up score to 79-67 but Sangalang released a two to frame an 81-69 victory giving San Sebastian its 10th win.
Star Player of the Game was Gilbert Bulawan who registered with 18 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 assists.
